Cancellation / No Show Terms

For individual bookings, the cancellation deadline is 48 hours before the check-in date. For group bookings the cancellation deadline is 25 days for group of 5 to 10 rooms and 50 days for groups larger than 10 rooms. If canceled after that time, the total amount will be charged, the same applies if the guest / guests do not show up. This applies to individual and group bookings. Cancellation policy does not apply to non-refundable bookings.

Payment Terms

Payment deadline is 48 hours for individual bookings, 25 days for groups with 5 to 10 rooms and 50 days for groups with 10 rooms or more. Non-refundable bookings are paid when booked.

Children Terms and Conditions

Children aged 6 and under stay free when using existing bedding. They also receive free breakfast (when included in the booking) and a complimentary airport shuttle.

Extra Beds

Cots are available, free of charge for guests. It is not possible to add adult beds in the hotel rooms.

Airport Shuttle

Airport shuttle is available from 4:00 - 8.00 AM while availability allows for individual bookings. Please note that Konvin Hotel cannot guarantee a seat at any time. A limited number of seats are available at any given time. Five rooms or more are considered a group booking. You need to book a shuttle service and pay for it separately for groups. Separate terms apply for group bookings. Please contact the group department for more information „groups@konvin.is“ The hotel is not liable for circumstances resulting in guests missing the hotel shuttle.

Smoking

Konvin Hotel is a non-smoking establishment. The ban is in place on smoking in all rooms, restaurant, and common facilities. Hotel reserves the right to charge an additional fee of ISK 25.000 for cleaning where ban is disregarded in order to cover the extensive cost of restoring guest rooms to a smoke-free condition.

Parking

Konvin Hotel offers free parking at the hotel. The hotel is not responsible for any loss or damage to guests’ parked cars on hotel premises.

Guest Responsibility

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings while on hotel premises. We recommend that you keep valuable items secure and within your possession at all time. 

Lost Items

Konvin Hotel is not responsible for items lost, forgotten, or left behind in guest rooms or public areas of the hotel. Guests are encouraged to carefully check their rooms and all common areas before departure and are solely responsible for their personal belongings during their stay. We recommend that valuables are kept secure and under personal supervision at all times.

Any lost property found by hotel staff may be retained for up to 30 days. Where possible, the hotel may attempt to contact the guest using the contact information provided during the booking or stay. If the guest does not arrange collection, respond to communication attempts, or otherwise claim the item within the 30-day period, the hotel reserves the right to donate, recycle, discard, or otherwise dispose of the property at its discretion.
